FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2025) – Stevens Construction has started construction of a 94,440-square-foot expansion and renovation of B&I Contractors, a leading mechanical, electrical and plumbing specialty contractor., announced Mark Stevens, president, Stevens Construction, Inc.
Stevens Construction is providing construction management services for a new 12,000-square-foot metal building that will serve as office space; a new 37,000-square-foot building that will have 5,775-square-feet of office space and 31,225-square-feet of manufacturing space. Steven Construction is also expanding B&I’s existing building by 41,440 square-feet to serve as manufacturing space; as well as renovating a 4,000-square-foot mezzanine into office space.
The project accommodates B&I’s continued growth and investment in the Southwest Florida community. Located at 2701 Prince St., the upgraded facilities will support B&I’s ongoing commitment to innovation, training, and operational excellence as the company continues to expand its statewide footprint.
The project team includes project manager, Mike Alisea; superintendents, Jeff Brunderman and Yoendry Campos Martinez; project administrator, Gina Varner. Studio AD is the architect of record and Quattrone & Associates is the civil engineer.
