The Cottage at Cypress Cove

Completed in summer of 2016, Stevens Construction provided construction management services for The Cottage, Cypress Cove’s 37,940-square-foot, two-story, memory care facility.   Located at 10200 Cypress Cove Drive within the HealthPark campus, the project occurred while the 550-residency retirement community remained operational.

The Cottage features four uniquely designed households, each with a country kitchen, dining room, living room, parlor and eleven private residences with private bathrooms.  Situated on the second floor, residents can also enjoy a beauty salon and multi-purpose room.  The second floor also houses the regions only Snoezelen therapy room, a sensory treatment proven beneficial for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.

The Cottage also features a tropical outdoor garden and courtyard sprinkled with unique elements such as a rain chain waterfall, dancing water jets and other water fountains.  The courtyard also includes low-impact flooring, two gardening sinks and a roof-top garden.
