When Dr. Zuly Fernandez, DMD, MS, envisioned her dream dental practice, she sought more than just a clinical space—she wanted an environment rooted in comfort, compassion and artistry. Inspired by the healing connection between medicine and music, Dr. Fernandez reached out to Stevens Construction’s Special Projects team to bring her vision to life.

Located at 4636 SE 9th Place in Cape Coral, the Dental Medicine Center of Cape Coral is a thoughtfully designed, 1,400-square-foot practice offering a full range of dental services, including preventative dentistry, dental implants, periodontal care, emergency dentistry and oral surgery.

In just three months, our team transformed the existing space through a complete renovation that included interior demolition, specialized preparation for dental plumbing requirements, and the framing of a new, efficient floorplan, and beautifully appointed finishes.

The completed facility features:

• Employee lounge

Adding a uniquely personal touch, the practice includes a piano lounge in the lobby—an homage to Dr. Zuly’s lifelong connection to music, which provided her comfort after immigrating from Cuba as a child. This theme carries throughout the space with curated artwork and in-room audio options, creating a soothing experience.
