The Project Estimator plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining the quality and cost control measures for the project during the pre-construction phase. During this phase the Estimator will work closely with the owner and the design team to ensure the project’s best value will be realized. The Estimator will be responsible for developing preliminary thru final estimates, assisting with constructability reviews, creating preliminary schedules, pre-qualifying subcontractors, generating bid packages, managing the bid process, reviewing subcontractor proposals, preparing owner proposals, negotiating and awarding subcontracts.
